During the years that Fredrik von Post owned Dufweholm Manor and Djulögodset, they were separated by the new railway, which was important for the then young station community of Catharineholm. Fredrik and Margareta von Post had three children, two of whom came to live at Dufweholm. The bedside cabinet has always stood at Dufweholm. 

Fredrik von Post's room is located in the rear of the Kristina Wing and has a beautiful view of the garden.
