Astrid Svinhufvud owned Dufweholm with her husband Gösta from 1932 until 1944. They were the first to run a guesthouse business at the manor. After her husband's death, Astrid leased the business to Mrs. Maja Hultbom, who then called the guesthouse Dufweholm Manor Home.

The chamber is located in the Kristina Wing, which takes its name from the fact that Queen Kristina is said to have stayed there.
